PERT supply - UK
The UK is facing a shortage of pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT) products, primarily due to issues with the supply of Creon PERT products, which hold a significant market share. As a result of this situation, there has been an unprecedented demand for Nutrizym 22.
Zentiva is making every effort to adapt to this increased demand and we have increased our levels of production to help alleviate this shortage. We are working closely with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) to ensure continuity of supply where possible. We are indirectly affected by the Creon supply issues, and the situation will only be resolved when they return to a full supply position.
Issues ordering Nutrizym 22 stock
Nutrizym 22 is restocked on a regular basis. Patients should initially check with their pharmacy for the next delivery date. If there are any additional concerns regarding their medication or health management during this period, patients should seek guidance from their prescribing doctor or dietician.
