During this pandemic crisis, Zentiva has two main responsibilities: continue to supply the medicines people depend on every day and protect and guarantee the safety of our employees.

Since the new coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic was announced, we have been taking every necessary action to prevent the spread of the disease within our offices and manufacturing sites. 

The Zentiva network of manufacturing facilities, with flagship sites in Prague and Bucharest, works at full capacity. To meet the growing needs of healthcare systems during these particular times, we have adapted our production of paracetamol and ibuprofen (two molecules against fever to fight the disease's symptoms): 

• our Prague site is producing a million more units of ibuprofen and paracetamol,
• in addition to the efforts of our Prague manufacturing team, our Bucharest site has also decided to adapt its plans by tripling its production of paracetamol.

We are using digital tools to stay connected and remain in constant contact with our partners - wholesalers and pharmacy chains. 

Preventing the spread of the virus is everyone's responsibility. That is why we also have introduced additional safety measures and hygiene solutions and reinforced education on protection against infection within our employee population.
